The legs are the only part you have to assemble. They screw in alright. The only problem is three of the sides are tapered, if you are standing over them looking down it is hard to tell which ones the tappers are on. You have to keep turning it over to tell how they go, I believe the straight side goes to the outside facing the length. The leg bottoms or buttons do not work well with carpet, already replaced them. It is not the sturdiest, but Ok for the price. So far the lid works as it should.
