Works great for storage but it did crack on the side…This was very easy to put together and appears sturdy enough for my high traffic area. Just be aware that the photos are very misleading. This bench is short/close to the ground. The picture shows a man sitting on it with his thigh bones parallel to the ground. I am 5’ 7.5” and when I sit on it my knees are higher than my hips. I would assume the photo is altered to make it appear adult sized but don’t be fooled. Regardless it’s still a good bench, it just looks mini. Be wary of the dimensions before purchasingIt was easy to assemble smaller than what I thought it would be. They did not provide a cushion coverI was very excited for the product to come and when I started building it I noticed that the material is the kind that leave and imprint on so by the time I was done building it, it was covered in fingerprints. I did not like that and the bottom platform for the this product is very thin. It made feel like I had to be very careful or I would break it and then I'm screwed. So I regret buying it but I have it now so hopefully it works out. So I hope this helps anyone who thinks its a great buy but in reality I wish I hadn't but to return is such a pain that ill keep it.If you live in a single person household more have one child this will do. But for $80 I am highly disappointed. Seems sturdy, easy to assemble. But small and doesn't hold a lot. If you want a REAL entry way bench and shoe storage, go to a store. If you happen to be a Hobbit, this product is perfect for you....I have had this product for a few months and issues started when the base of the inside that would hold the items kept falling out. Eventually it started separating and the entire thing disassembled on me while sitting on it because the arms kept separating from the base ended up just taking apart and throwing it out really not worth it I felt sturdy but in the end it didn’t it last more than six monthsVery cute product. Good construction however, The storage box was put together and was decidedly lower than shown in the pictures. It is way too low for a 5'7 woman and a 6'1" male to sit on/stand up. It was meant to sit on in our laundry/mud room to remove and store shoes. Also, please read the reviews carefully.
