A lovely ottoman. Elegant & stylish in my opinion. Solid build. Lid hinges are very smooth. Good interior storage space. Size is perfect at 27" square, not too big, or too small. The gently grained leather is soft, has a nice sheen to it. Rich dark brown color -- the sheen keeps it from being too dark. Just twist in the legs and it's ready. Ignore the large photo that shows up first at top of page, it doesn't do it justice and besides it's out of focus --- instead, scroll over the other photos below it, they are very accurate and even show the nice stitching across the top and on sides.Quick ship direct from Joveco manufacturer. Excellent buy at a good price. I love it!After many months of searching for a large storage ottoman I happened upon this one. The material, size, and color were perfect for my living room as I didn't want a coffee table to just collect junk. My kids sit on it and we store several throws and pillows in it to use while watching movies. The details are very nice and it was simple to put the legs on. We have hardwood floors so I added some rubber feet to the bottom to keep it in place otherwise it would slide across the room.Really liked the functionality of this piece and the detail. It was so perfect...except the color. It claims gray, but looked more beige compared to my existing couch. Guess it’s true there are many shades of gray. Ugh. I wish I wish i wish I had a he wake piece in just the right color.Good price and productThe product looks nice but the assembly method and choice in parts is terrible.The bottom is flimsy cardboard (see my images, I was applying only a small amount of pressure to flex it) and the holes for the screws aren't aligned well.I'm not a fan of nail-head furniture but I gave this a try anyways. As you can see in the picture, the last nail head doesn't align to the others. That was not the only misaligned nail head.When the unit was fully assembled, it was not sturdy nor rigid and the seams did not maintain uniform spacing (not an assembly fault, the joints are simply not tight).The instructions are atrocious. I guess that it's easy enough that even a caveman could do it but I wasn't expecting to have to think about how it should be assembled as the manufacturer typically handles that part on their end.I love this. It’s a nice cream color. It is heavy which I love. But it gets dirty easily. The price was totally worth it. Inside holds so much. We have two blankets plus miscellaneous stuff in there and it still isn’t full. Would recommend.Update: the lid is misaligned and I don’t know how to fix it. I never noticed it until a friend pointed it out to me. Hopefully I can get some help In how to go about this. I really do love this ottoman I just wished I noticed this before.Didn’t take long to receive and only thing I had to do is screw the pegs/legs into place, which made it very simple and didn’t need to be assembled. Love the silver studs that goes around the bottom of the ottoman, and love the storage space. Very pleased with this purchase.. just wish it was a tad bit larger in dimensions.My wife got this for our living room and it looks very good but it was not that easy to move. Storage is great to hide things we do not use continuously throughout the day but in the early evening I have to move it to workout and it was a task... well, I just added casters (wheels) and it completely transformed it. I got 4 casters and replaced the legs, super simple; I also added some washers to tighten the grip of the casters. I am using this caster model: Shepherd Hardware 9344 2-Inch Threaded Stem Casters, 5/16-Inch Stem Diameter.
