I'm old enough now (70) that being able sit sometimes while getting dressed is helpful. This bench appears more than strong enough to support my 250 pounds for this use. It took me about 20 minutes or so, to assemble. All machine screws and allen wrenches were included and seem to be well made. The box it came in was sturdy, with enough with styrofoam, tape and other packing material to keep it blemish and damage free on it's trip to my home.
