The bench came as advertised. It was very well packed. Everything was in place, secure, and in good condition. The bench assembles relatively easily. It helped to have a 2nd person assisting. Just go slowly. All the pieces fit together tightly and in alignment. I was a bit surprised by how well it is built. It tightened up well and is sturdy. One note: there are wood screws that help secure the frame to the seat. Holes are pre-drilled in the frame, but not the bench seat. You'll need to use a drill to put these in, unless you drill starter holds, then use a screwdriver. But the wood is very hard; I just used my drill carefully. I'll be interested to see how it weathers. I'm very taken by this bench. So far it seems an amazing bench for the price. I had been looking at it for over a year...it was around $280...It was on sale for 33% off, so i snapped it up. The whole thing, with tax, was under $190.
